Choosing the correct carton sealing tape is necessary to insure both production efficiency and carton closure performance. APEX Packaging will help you determine the correct option of box sealing tape for your operation. Carton sealing tape is available in 1 1/2", 2" and 3" as standard widths. Standard lengths are 55 yd, 110 yd, 1,000 yd, 1640 yds. and 2000 yds. Tapes range from 1.6 mil to 3.43 mil. total thickness.

Just as important as the mil. thickness is to strength it is equally as important to choose the correct adhesive formulation. If you are operating in ambient temperatures the hot melt rubber adhesive system will perform effectively. When the requirement is in a refrigerated or cold temperature environment the correct acrylic adhesive system will handle your needs.
