Bubble Wrap brand cushioning made from polyethylene in conjunction with a co-extruded barrier retains the air more effectively and for a longer period of time than any non-barrier bubble material. This allows for greater cushioning performance for a longer period of time therefore reducing damages. It is also probable that less bubble wrap is required per application than non-barrier materials.
